UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund produced a nine minute video, featuring a multiplicity of voices on the issue of adolescent pregnancy. The video sought to support the Government’s efforts to achieve a reduction in the number of teen and also repeat pregnancies among teens, by increasing awareness of the problem of teen pregnancy and its impact on the lives and future of girls and also on national development. The video formed an integral part of their launch of the State of World Population report on October 30. The video reflects the voices of girls who were pregnant speaking about how the experience has affected their lives. It also features a young man speaking about what it means to be a young father. It features the Minster of Education, teachers, parents and the UNFPA speaking about the importance of supporting pregnant teens. BA was contracted to produce this video.
